Sorby vs Productboard
Honest comparison from a practitioner who used both. Written for product leaders deciding whether to switch or evaluate.
TL;DR
Choose Productboard if: You are enterprise (500+ employees), your compliance team requires SOC2 Type 2 today, you need mature native integrations right now, and budget is not a primary constraint.
Choose Sorby if: You are a scaling product org (80-250 employees) with 3-15 teams, you want AI-native from day 1 rather than bolted-on, you hate per-seat pricing that punishes growth, and you want executive-level portfolio visibility without a 6-figure contract.

Migration path from Productboard to Sorby
Productboard does not offer public API export for all data. Workaround: export via their Reports feature as CSV, then paste into Sorby. AI will automatically classify, deduplicate, and cluster on ingestion. Typical migration for a 500-idea backlog takes 20-30 minutes.
If your legal team requires data portability before signing, email madin2307@gmail.com and we will work through the export together.
