Why I'm building Sorby
I spent two years as a Product Owner and Growth PM at a 500-person technology company. My job included rolling out a unified product discovery process across 15+ product teams. Every team used different methodologies — some OST, some Double Diamond, some nothing at all. My CPO could not tell me what the teams were building. My CFO asked why we kept shipping features nobody used.
I tried every existing tool. Productboard was too expensive and tuned for enterprise. Aha! had weeks of onboarding nobody would survive. Canny only covered external feedback. Jira Product Discovery was built for engineers, not PMs. Spreadsheets broke at 5 teams. None of them were built for the specific transition I was living — the moment when a product org stops being one team and starts being a federation.
So I built what I needed. Sorby is the tool I wish I had in year one of that job. It is AI-native from day one — every idea gets enriched, classified, deduplicated on arrival. It is built specifically for organizations running 3 to 15 product teams. It prices by workspace, not by seat, because per-seat pricing punishes growing teams.
The product is in private beta. A live paste-your-backlog demo is on the homepage. I am taking on a small number of design partners at 50% off for life — email me if you lead a product organization with 3-15 teams and want early access.
